One day is not much to spend in a city, so make the most of your trip and don’t lose any time searching for what to do! With the help of our local heroes, we’ve tried to create a perfect 24 hours in Barcelona to take the planning out of your next trip!

00 | Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so make sure you make it a good one! One of our recommendations for a delicious and picture perfect (we don’t blame you if that picture is making you drool😋) try Brunch & Cake. As our local hero Ben put it simply: “Great service, fantastic location, solid brunch menu“.

00 | If you are looking for to check out the city’s architecture but don’t want to fight off the crowds at Sagrada Familia, check out the beautiful architecture at Hospital de Sant Pau. If you are looking for other examples of Catalan Modernism in the city, make sure to take a look at local hero Milos’ list.

00 | Just a short walk (or metro ride if you’re feeling lazy😄) away is the Bunkers de Carmel, recommended by our local hero Martina. At the end of the hike you will be rewarded with amazing views of the city.

00 | If you’re hungry after all of your walking, sit down to lunch with a view at Xiringuito ESCRIBA, situated right on the beach. Visitare Barcellona recommends the restaurant for its seafood dishes and authentic paella.

00 | After lunch head to the Gothic Quarter to explore the narrow streets. Right around the corner from the Cathedral, you’ll find the quiet Plaça de Sant Felip Neri. This is a perfect place to relax and learn more about the history of the square, like in local hero Jessica‘s video above.

00 | For dinner, gather some friends and try out tapas at Tantarantana. Martina recommends it not only for the food but also the excellent vermouth.

pm | Now that night has fallen and your 24 hours in Barcelona are coming to a close, make sure to end your night off right. Maybe you want to experience the nightlife at one of the city’s many clubs and bars or have a more laid back night enjoying the show at the Font Màgica de Montjuïc. Either way, be sure to enjoy every minute of it!😃
